Contemporary Iran
Contemporary Iran began during the late 19th century with the Qajar dynasty and has since undergone significant political, social, and cultural transformations. The Constitutional Revolution of 1906 marked a pivotal moment as Iran moved toward establishing a constitutional monarchy.
In 1925, the Pahlavi dynasty rose to power, implementing extensive reforms in the economic, educational, and industrial sectors. However, the political landscape changed dramatically with the Islamic Revolution in 1979, leading to the establishment of the Islamic Republic. Since then, Iran has played a key role in regional politics and has made notable advancements in science and technology.
